While a porcelain tile will be well equipped to handle the heavy footfall, with little to no maintenance, natural stone tiles can look more impressive, but will need additional maintenance to remain waterproof.

In your hallway you can also make bolder tile choices that you wouldn’t normally make. This is because it is a smaller area that is often separate from the rest of your living area.
