One of the tiling trends that really took off in 2017 was geometric tiling. And we are prepared to bet that it will be around, and popular, throughout 2018. As such, we have produced this guide to using geometric tiles.

All square…

The grid layout, using square tiles, can create a strong statement. Perfect for both contemporary and traditional rooms alike, the grid layout can be striking. You should use a darker or contrasting grout colour to really frame each of your tiles, and make your layout choice stand out.

Or, a few more corners?

The hexagonal tiles are incredibly popular. Whether its large format tiles for the flooring, or smaller more intricate hexagons for feature walls and splash-backs, homeowners and property developers have really embraced the hexagonal tile. And it looks fantastic. Why not use black and white hexagonal tiles for a graphical effect that really draws the eye to the geometry? Or how about natural stone effect hexagonal tiles, for a neutral and natural kitchen or bathroom?

A little edgy…

Triangular tiles are really striking. Especially for a splash-back area or a feature wall. The triangular tiles really stand out from the rectangular and square tiles and add a personal touch to your room.

Or, something more traditional?

If you want something a bit more traditional, why not use a mixture of square and rectangular shaped tiles to create an incredible geometric design. This type of creativity will suit even the most traditional of bathroom, while also looking fantastic in a contemporary kitchen.
