Matt or gloss

In your bathroom, safety should be an important feature. For that reason, we would suggest that your floor tiles are matt finish. This is because, even when they get wet, they will be less slippy than glossy tiles.

For your walls however, the choice is open. Both matt and gloss tiles can be perfect for walls. Having said that, gloss tiles will reflect light, and may be slightly easier to clean, making them a practical choice for any bathroom, contemporary or traditional.
